1　there be 句型中的be不可用實義動詞have代替，但可用stand （聳立），live（生活，生存），lie （躺，位于），exist （生存），seem （似乎），happen（碰巧）等。

There stands a tower at the top of the hill. 山頂上聳立著一座塔。

Once there lived an old fisherman here. 從前這里住著一個老漁夫。

There seems to be a lot of people in the hall. 大廳里似乎有許多人。

There lies a lake in the distance. 不遠(yuǎn)處有一個湖。

2　there be 句型的否定式為：

There be not (any) +主語+其他成分

There be no +主語+其他成分

Be there (any)+主語+其他成分

情態(tài)動詞／助動詞 +there be+主語+其他成分

4　there be 句型的反意疑問句為：

6　there be與have 的區(qū)別： there be和have 均可表示“有”。通常情況下，主語擁有或具有用have ，“某處有某人或某物”用there be，表示客觀存在。但如果表示“整體與局部的含有”，或難以判斷是所屬關(guān)系還是存在關(guān)系，用there be和have均可。
