1　表示“脫掉”（衣服、鞋、帽）。

It's warm here. You'd better take off your coat. 這里暖和，你最好把外衣脫了。

Everybody took off his cap at that moment. 當時每人都脫了帽。

2　表示（飛機）“起飛”。

When will the plane take off ? 飛機什么時候起飛？

The plane took off at ten this morning. 飛機今天上午10點鐘起飛。
