Who was the boy

Who took his horn

And went to mind the sheep?

As he sat down by a big hay-stack,

He soon fell fast asleep.

Who took her bowl

And sat on a tuffet one day?

When a spider came, she felt afraid

And so she ran away.

Who climbed a hill

To fill their pail at the well?

When they both fell down, one broke his crown;

The tale was sad to tell.
