LESSON 25 LITTLE PUSSY

第二十五課 小貓咪

I love little pussy, her coat is so warm;

我愛我的小貓咪，她的毛皮暖暖的；

And if I don't hurt her, she'll do me no harm.

如果我不傷害她，她就不會傷害我。

So I'll not pull her tail, nor drive her away,

所以我不拽她尾巴，也不趕她離開我。

But pussy and I very gently will play.

不過貓咪和我會輕輕地一起玩耍。

She'll sit by my side, and I'll give her some food;

她會坐在我身旁，我會喂他些食物。

And pussy will love me, because I am good.

Oh! Here is Miss Pussy; she's drinking her milk;

哦！貓小姐在這兒，她在喝牛奶；

Her coat is as soft and as glossy as silk.

她的皮毛軟又軟，就像絲綢般光滑。

She sips the milk up with her little lap-lap;

她用她的小舌頭，吸光所有的牛奶；

Then, wiping her whiskers, lies down for a nap.

My kitty is gentle, she loves me right well;

How funny her play is I'm sure I can't tell.

Now under the sofa, now under the table,

一會兒在沙發(fā)下，一會兒在桌子下，

She runs and plays bo-peep as well as she's able.

她能一邊跑，一邊跳貓咪舞。

Oh, dearly I love her! You never did see

哦，天啊，我愛她！你從未見過

Two happier play-mates than kitty and me.

哪兩個(gè)玩伴兒比我的貓迷和我更開心的。
