LESSON 17 THE BIRD AND ITS NEST

第十七課 鳥和鳥巢

This is a bird's nest.

這是一只鳥巢。

May I look in? Yes.

我可以看看里面嗎？可以。

I see three eggs in it,

我看見里面有三枚鳥蛋。

but no young ones yet.

但是還沒有幼鳥。

Where is the bird?

小鳥在哪里？

It will soon be back.

它一會就會回來。

See, there it comes!

看呀，它過來了！

It flies back to its nest.

它飛回鳥巢了。

Now it is in the nest,

現(xiàn)在它在鳥巢里，

and it sits on the eggs.

它孵在鳥蛋上。

Its mate is on the tree.

它的愛人在樹上。

He sings a sweet song.

他吟唱著一首悅耳的歌。

There will soon be young birds in the nest.

很快得鳥巢里就會有幼鳥破殼而出。

1.This is the tree where the bird has its nest. Let us look in it now. Here it is.

1.這是一棵樹，鳥兒在這里安了巢。讓我們現(xiàn)在看看里面吧。

I can see three young ones in it—one, two, three. How soft and warm they are! We may look at them, but we must not take them out.

在這里。我看到里面三只幼鳥—一只，兩只，三只。它們是那么柔軟又溫暖！我們可以看看它們，但不允許把它們拿出去。

2.Here is the bird. It sees us. Let us go back, and see what it will do. See! it flies to the nest! It loves its young ones.

2.這里是鳥媽媽。它看著我們。讓我們退回去，看看它會怎么做。看呀！它飛向鳥巢！它愛它的鳥寶寶們。

There is its mate. He is up on the tree. He loves to sing when the hen bird is in the nest with its young. How sweet his song is!

那是它的鳥爸爸。它棲息在高高的樹上。當(dāng)鳥巢里鳥媽媽和鳥寶寶們在一起時(shí)，它就喜歡歡唱。它的歌聲是多么悅耳??！

3.Now let us go back to the soft green grass at the pond. See! there is the sheep with a bird on its back! The bird will take some of the soft wool of the sheep for its nest.

3.現(xiàn)在讓我們返回到池塘邊的柔軟青草地上。看啊！一只鳥兒停在羊背上！鳥兒將為建筑它的鳥巢薅走一些柔軟的羊毛。

See! it is off with some! and now it flies back to its nest.

看??！它薅走了一些！現(xiàn)在它飛回到鳥巢。

4.The sheep loves its lamb, and the lamb loves me. The hen gives us eggs, one, two, three. The bird sings a song, as it sits on the tree.

4.母羊愛羊羔，羊羔喜歡我。母雞為我們生產(chǎn)雞蛋，一枚，兩枚，三枚。鳥兒棲息在樹上歡唱。

God loves the bird that sings in the tree. God loves the lamb, and God loves me.

上帝愛樹上歡唱的鳥兒。上帝愛小羊羔，上帝愛我。
