NATO has dismissed as baseless claims by President of Belarus of a troop build-up on its border. It said that it poses no threat to Belarus or any other country. Earlier, President Lukashenko claimed NATO was trying to spilt Belarus and install a new president. On Saturday evening protesters took to the streets of Minsk and other cities, demanding Mr. Lukashenko stand down after what's widely considered a fraudulent election win.

Israeli police have clashed with protesters in Jerusalem, demanding the resignation of prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A number of arrests were made as police tried to clear the crowd from the square near the prime minister's official residence. Thousands joined the protest against Mr. Netanyahu's handling of the coronavirus and his alleged corruption.
