(1)從與名詞的搭配來(lái)看,some和any均可以與不可數(shù)名詞和可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)連用,表示“一些”。但some一般用在肯定句中;而any一般用在疑問(wèn)句和否定句中
例句
a. I need some medicine to cure my cough.
b. Can you give me any advice?
c. I want to buy some computer books.
d. I don’t have any friends here.
(2)some的特殊用法
1)當(dāng)你期待一個(gè)正面回答或要鼓勵(lì)對(duì)方說(shuō)“是”時(shí),在疑問(wèn)句中也要用some。例如:
a. Would you like to give me some advice?
b. Can I have some more wine?
2)some與數(shù)詞連用時(shí),表示“大約”,此時(shí)所表示的數(shù)量往往給人以深刻的印象。例如:
a. Some 1,500 passengers and crew died aboard the Titanic when it sank on April 14, 1912 after hitting an iceberg. It lies at a depth of some 4,000 meters, some 640 kilometers south of Newfoundland, Canada.
