v. 讓步狀語從句中的部分倒裝形式

as/though引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句，其倒裝形式為：

“副詞/形容詞/名詞/動詞+ as （though, that) +主語+謂語”,相當(dāng)于although引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句。

Young as (though) he is , he knows a lot.

盡管年齡小，他知道的卻很多。

Strange as it may appear , it is true.

盡管顯得奇怪，但卻是真的。

注意：

1）這種句型中提前的常是限制主語的形容詞、副詞、過去分詞或名詞。

Situated as it was near a market , the house was very quiet.

盡管位于市場附近，這房子卻很安靜。

Hard as he works , he makes little progress.

盡管學(xué)習(xí)很努力，他取得的進(jìn)步卻很小。

Fail as I did , I would try again.

盡管我失敗了，我還要嘗試。

Much as we tried , we failed to get the expected result.

盡管我們試了很多次，還是沒有得到期待的結(jié)果。

2）提前的表語是單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞時，名詞前不加a/an；但是有形容詞修飾的名詞前置時，不定冠詞不能省略。

Girl as she is , she is brave and outstanding.

盡管她是個女孩，卻很勇敢出眾。

A little child as he is , he can speak two foreign languages.

盡管他是個小孩子，卻能講兩門外語。

3）動詞提前后，主語后還應(yīng)有一個情態(tài)動詞may, might等或助動詞do等。

Try as he might , Tom couldn't get out of the trouble.

盡管湯姆嘗試了，卻不能擺脫困境。
