iii. 幾個(gè)固定的部分倒裝句

1. 表示“一……就……”時(shí)，用以下句型：

1）No sooner + had +主語+過去分詞+ than +從句:

No sooner had they got to the field than they started to work.

they had no sooner got to The field than they started to work.

他們一到田間就開始勞動(dòng)。

2）Hardly + had +主語+過去分詞+when +從句:

Hardly had I arrived home when it began to rain.

我一到家，天就開始下雨。

3）Scarcely +主語+過去分詞+ when + 從句

Scarcely had I lay down when (before) I went to sleep.

我一躺下就睡著了。

2. “Not only +助動(dòng)詞+主語+謂語+其他+ but also+（省略的）并列謂語”表示“不但……而且……”，用于說明前后并列句的情況一致，在語氣上更強(qiáng)調(diào)后者。

Not only did he clean the room, but also he washed all the clothes.

他不僅打掃了房間，而且還洗了所有的衣服。

Not only does she like music, but also sports.

她不但喜歡音樂還喜歡運(yùn)動(dòng)。

注意：

1）not only ... but also連接兩個(gè)并列主語時(shí), 主語后的語序不倒裝。

Not only you but also he is wrong.

不但你而且他都是錯(cuò)的。

Not only you but also I have been to Beijing before.

不但你而且還有我都去過北京。

2）連接兩個(gè)并列分句時(shí)，not only引導(dǎo)的前一個(gè)分句倒裝，后一個(gè)則用正常語序。

Not only should we not be afraid of difficulties, but also we should try our best to overcome them.

我們不但不應(yīng)該害怕困難，而且應(yīng)該盡力去克服它們。
