The United States has imposed sanctions on the Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. The Trump administration said that Mr.Zarif was propaganda minister who defended the persecution of the Iranian people. Mr.Zarifa said that the sanction would not affect him as he had no property or interests outside Iran. He thanked the US for considering him such a threat to its agenda.

US media are quoting intelligence sources as saying that, Hamza bin Laden, a son of the late Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is dead. But officials didn’t provide any information about how or where Hamza bin Laden, thought to be a potential successor to his father, died.

President Putin has ordered the Russian army to help fight wildfires raging across Siberia after 800,000 people petitioned the authorities to step up their response. The blaze has been spreading through remote forest for at least a month, and now covers nearly three million hectares.

Mr.Biden, as a centrist, who analysts say could have the best chance of winning over voters who supported Trump in 2016. He will be sharing the stage in Detroit with nine other Democrats.
