A container is like a big box that you put something in, “A container”就是可以放東西進(jìn)去的大箱子，

and so a trash container is a big, in my case, plastic box that has wheels that I can then put it down on the street. 因此，在我看來(lái)，垃圾箱就是個(gè)有輪子的大塑料箱，這樣我可以把它推到大街上。

You have to put your trash containers on the street. 你必須得把垃圾箱放到街上去。

Each container has a different color. 每個(gè)垃圾箱都有不同的顏色。

I put the trash containers out on the street because the garbage trucks "come by early in the morning." 我把垃圾箱推到了大街上，因?yàn)槔?ldquo;早上來(lái)得很早。”

They come by, a two word verb, which means that they come to your house — they drive to your house. “They come by”，兩個(gè)字的動(dòng)詞，意思是他們來(lái)到你的住處——他們開(kāi)車來(lái)到你家。

And, in my neighborhood, they come by very early, so at six o'clock on Friday morning I can hear the trucks outside my window. 而且，在我家附近，他們來(lái)得非常早，因此周五早上的6點(diǎn)鐘我就會(huì)被窗戶外面的垃圾車吵醒。

I don't like it, but I need to have my trash taken away, so one day of the week I wake up early because I can hear the garbage trucks outside. 我不喜歡它，但我需要我的垃圾被拉走，因此一周里總有那么一天我醒得很早，因?yàn)槲視?huì)被外面的垃圾車吵醒。
