英語笑話:Punishment 懲罰

A ten-year-old student asked, " Teacher，would you punish me for something I didn’t do? "

"Of course not," the teacher replied.

The kid said，" Good，because I didn't do my homework. "

一個(gè)10歲的學(xué)生問：“老師，你會(huì)因?yàn)槲覜]有做過的事而處罰我嗎?”

2. "punish sb. for sth." 是指“因?yàn)槟呈露幜P某人”，for在此當(dāng)介詞，有“因?yàn)椤⒂捎?rdquo;的意思，如：The teacher punished him for his absence.老師因?yàn)樗毕幜P他。若要表不以何種方式處罰，可以用with代替for,，如：He drove through the red light so the policeman punished him with a fine.他闖了紅燈，所以瞥察對(duì)他進(jìn)行罰款處理。

3. fine [fain ] n. 罰金

4. "Of course not," the teacher replied.

老師回答：“當(dāng)然不會(huì)”
