"elevator"是指有車廂的電梯.“電動(dòng)手扶梯"則是 "escalator"。"get on"除了可以表示搭電梯之外,也可以表示 “登上(大型的交通工具,如:巴上)、騎上(機(jī)動(dòng)車、自行車、 馬等)”.若是搭乘轎車,則必須用"get in"因?yàn)閛n有“在… 之上”的意思,而in則有“在…之內(nèi)”的意思。
