What! No bonus?I’ve been working really hard.This isn’t fair.

And you could tell Tom to ’pull your socks up’.

Pull his socks up? Most of his socks are on the bedroom floor.

He should pick them up rather than pull them up!

No Anna! It’s a saying – it means to make more effort – do better - work harder.
