　　keep... from+名詞... ing 阻止某人做某事

　　這里的 keep 具有“阻止，抑制”的含義。keep A from+名詞（... ing）表示“阻止某人做某事”。需要注意的是，如果少了 from,變成 keep A+... ing 的話就表示“讓某人做某事”。

　　例句：

　　They keep me from getting work done.

　　正因?yàn)樗麄?，我才沒(méi)完成工作。

　　I was just trying to keep you from doing something stupid.

　　我只想阻止你做一些愚蠢的事情。

　　I moved all our stuff, to keep it from them.
