　　let... go 解雇，忘記

　　let... go 表示“讓……離開(kāi)”。let sb go 則表示“讓某人離開(kāi)”，警察如果說(shuō)這句則表示“釋放某人”，老板則表示“解雇”。另外，let it go 還有“忘記”，“放任不管”的意思。

　　例句：

　　My boss let him go this morning.

　　我老板今天早上把他解雇了。

　　Don't let him go! I still need him yet.

　　不要讓他走！我還需要他呢。

　　( Would you ) Let it go.

　　忘掉吧，別管了。

　　You should let go of your anger.

　　你要學(xué)會(huì)控制憤怒。

　　對(duì)話(huà)：

　　A: You should let your son go on the trip.

　　你應(yīng)該讓你兒子去旅行。
