　　make up 組成，假裝，準(zhǔn)備，化妝，和解 (with)

　　make up 具有很廣泛的含義，在日常生活中經(jīng)常會(huì)用到，表示“編造謊話”，“和解”，“化妝”等。另外，be made up of 表示“由……構(gòu)成”。

　　例句：

　　I made up a story about that.

　　那個(gè)故事是我編造的。

　　Is that something you're making up?

　　你在編瞎話嗎？

　　He didn't recognize me at first without my make-up.

　　我沒(méi)化妝時(shí)，他第一眼沒(méi)認(rèn)出我。

　　She was trying to make up with you. You should go eat with her.

　　她想和你和好。你應(yīng)該和她吃頓飯。
