釋義：
give it to somebody straight 單刀直入地說(shuō)
give it to somebody straight 表示“對(duì)某人單刀直入地說(shuō)”。但如果沒(méi)有 straight,單單是 give it to sb 的話就表示“給某人顏色看看”或“性行為”。但最常用的 give it to sb 則是前文中提到過(guò)的 give sth to sb，就是“給某人某樣?xùn)|西”的意思。
