① more than a中的a指的是“一個，任何一個”，表示的是類別。

He will stay here for more than a mouth. 他將在這里待一個多月。（超過30天）

② more than one中的one強(qiáng)調(diào)數(shù)量是“一個”，而不是“兩個，三個，四個”。

It took her more than an hour to get there. 到達(dá)那里花了她一個多小時。（一個小時多一點(diǎn)）
