① for one's good意為“為了某人好，為了某人的利益”，這里的good用作名詞，相當(dāng)于benefit，可用作表語或狀語。

He did it for your good. 他做那件事是為了你好。

All she has done is for her own good. 她所做的一切都是為了自己的利益。

② for the good of +指人的名詞也表示“為了某人好，為了某人的利益”，相當(dāng)于for one's good，但是，for the good of結(jié)構(gòu)后只能用名詞，不可用代詞。
