159　clean，clear，sweep和wipe

① clean用作形容詞時，意為“干凈的，清潔的”，指沒有灰塵或剛清掃過。

The room is clean and tidy. 這房間又干凈又整潔。

They always keep the classroom clean. 他們總是使教室保持清潔。

② clean用作動詞時，指用各種方式“打掃”干凈。

Mother cleaned the house for New Year's Day. 母親把房子打掃干凈過新年。

③ clear用作形容詞時，意為“（天氣）晴朗的，（言語）清楚的，（圖像）清晰的”。
