80　assure和ensure

① assure（make sb. feel less worried，make sb. believe）使……放心，使相信。

She assured me that she would try her best to help us. 她讓我們放心，她會(huì)盡全力幫助我們的。

They assured us of the soundness of the plan. 他們讓我們放心，那項(xiàng)計(jì)劃是可靠的。

I am assured of his success（that he will succeed）. 我相信他會(huì)成功的。

② ensure（make certain that something happens）保證。

I can not ensure you a good job. 我不能保證你能得到一份好工作。

She came early to ensure getting a good seat. 她來(lái)得早，以便確保得到一個(gè)好的位子。

Her ability will ensure success to/for her. 她的能力保證她能成功。
