Well, it looks like hollow trees are not just for making cookies anymore. Could it be that the Keebler elves are branching out (No pun intended) into the liquor business? The Sunland Baobab Tree, located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa is home to an actual pub. That’s right. Inside this 6,000-year-old tree, you can sit down at a bar and order up a pint or play a game of darts with your friends.

The Pub Tree, as it is also known, is huge. It has a circumference of around 50 meters and the inner chamber has a 4-meter high ceiling and is big enough to accommodate up to 20 people—and they don’t have to be elf-sized, either.
The magnificent tree sits on the Sunland Farm near the small town of Modjadjiskloof. The farm is owned by the Van Heerden family who opened the bar back in 1933. They also run a bed and breakfast on the same site. The beautiful tree has become one of the top tourist attractions in the area and the pub itself draws over 5,000 visitors a year.
