At the age of 80, Mr. Miura had reached the summit of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain on earth. In doing so, Mr. Miura entered the record books. He became the oldest person ever to make the dangerous journey. This expedition was his third time to climb the mountain. What he accomplished is even more remarkable , as Mr. Miura has undergone heart surgery on four occasions. He was accompanied by a party of Japanese climbers , including his son and six Nepali Sherpas .
We can draw inspiration from his words before climbing Everest, “If you never give up, you will realize your dreams.”
